Meet the animals

tHE GIRLS

These are our lovely Lunkarya lady guinea pigs. These guinea pigs are renowned for their woolly wig like fur and our ladies are no exception. They are super calm and very cuddly, they are fun to watch as they popcorn around their enclosure and scoff their way through a mountain of veg (grown at our allotment) .

MICHELANGELO THE WOOD TURTLE

Michelangelo came to us through a local rescue centre and he loves to be tong fed mealworms in his pool.

Lemmy the Leopard gecko

Lemmy is a very cool calm and collected rescue lizard who always appears to be smiling. He likes to come out to explore his way around your hands, arms and jumper. He is super soft to touch and needs a very gentle touch.

Noodle the banana python

Noodle came to us via a local rescue centre we work closely with. Noodle is a very calm and gentle snake who loves to explore her surroundings. She enjoys being held and often try's to find her way into your jumper for a warm snuggle.

Our axolotls

Our axolotls are mesmerising to watch and interact with.  They can be very curious and may come to the front of the tank to watch you or even follow your finger.

Dino the bearded dragon

Dino is a 4 years old. He’s a very friendly bearded dragon who likes to spend time out of his vivarium exploring the centre. He likes going for walks on the street with his lead and harness on.

Charlotte the tarantula

Charlotte is a curly haired tarantula. She loves to dig!

Polly the ferret

This is Polly rescued by our friends at Knaresborough Exotic Pet Rescue. She was found on the streets in Leeds and is now living her best life with us.

Norman the chinchilla

Norman our rescue Chinchilla - he is 5 years old and spends a lot of time running free around the centre. He lives alone sadly as his partner died but he gets lots of love from everyone who visits him
